Service Description

getPaperFast provides AI-powered paper analysis services through a credit-based system. Our services are designed for users who need to quickly read papers, understand complex academic content, helping users efficiently extract core information and key insights from papers.

Credits and Payment Terms

Credit System

• Our services operate on a prepaid credit system
• 1 credit = 1 paper analysis
• Credits are purchased in packages (e.g., 100 credits for $9.90)
• Credits never expire once purchased
• New users receive 5 free trial credits with 30-day expiration

Payment Processing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Payments are charged immediately upon purchase
• We accept major credit cards and payment methods supported by Stripe
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified

Refund Policy

• Free trial credits: No refunds applicable
• Purchased credits: Credits are non-refundable once purchased, unless explicitly required by law
• Technical failures: We will attempt to reprocess, or provide equivalent credit compensation when unable to resolve
• System maintenance: System maintenance and temporary interruptions do not constitute technical failures
• Account violations: In case of account closure due to violations, remaining credits will not be refunded
• Refund requests must be submitted to billing@getpaperfast.com

Acceptable Use and Content Policy

Acceptable Use

• Services are suitable for research, educational, commercial, and professional purposes
• Users may analyze published research papers, preprints, academic documents, and technical reports
• Supports individual research, enterprise R&D, consulting services, and educational institution use

Content Restrictions

You may not upload or analyze:

• Copyrighted material without permission
• Documents containing personal privacy information, trade secrets, or other sensitive data
• Content that violates third-party rights or applicable laws
• Malicious files or content designed to harm our systems

User Content Rights

• You retain all rights to papers you upload for analysis
• We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content
• Analysis results are provided for your use and reference

User Accounts and Responsibilities

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must provide accurate registration information
• You must promptly update any changes to account information
• You are liable for all activities under your account

Service Availability and Performance

Service Levels

• We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Analysis processing time may vary based on system load
• We implement rate limiting to ensure fair usage

Technical Support

• Support is provided via email and help documentation
• We will endeavor to respond to user inquiries promptly
• Priority support for billing and technical issues

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• getPaperFast platform, analysis algorithms, and branding are our intellectual property
• Users may not reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of our service

User Rights

• Users retain rights to their uploaded research papers
• Users may export and share their analysis results

• We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations
• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how our users interact with our services so we can improve them. We only use anonymized data, and no personal research data is shared. Data Retention

• Account information: Retained while account is active
• Analysis results: Stored until user deletion or account closure

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our systems
• Use automated systems to create accounts or consume services
• Resell or redistribute credits to third parties

Limitation of Liability

Service Disclaimer

• Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of our services
• We do not guarantee that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Users assume all risks associated with use and must verify results independently
• Users should verify analysis results independently

Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Total Liability Limit: Our total liability for any damages arising from your use or inability to use our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the services in the past 12 months
• Exclusion of Damages: Under no circumstances shall we be liable for indirect, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including but not limited to:
  • Business losses, lost profits, lost revenue
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Reputation damage or loss of goodwill
  • Cost of substitute services or products
  • Loss of anticipated savings

Termination

By User

• Users may close accounts at any time
• Upon account closure, remaining credits will not be refunded

By Us

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations
• We may discontinue services with 30 days notice
• In case of termination for cause, no refund of credits

International Use

Global Service

• Services are available to users worldwide
• Users must comply with local laws and regulations
• Some features may not be available in all jurisdictions

Export Control

• Users acknowledge services may be subject to export control laws
• Users agree not to use services in violation of such laws

Changes to Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
• We will provide notice by posting updated Terms on this page
• Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms
• Material changes may be communicated via email
• We also reserve the right to modify service features, credit consumption rules, or impose usage restrictions to maintain service quality and fair usage
